As a kid, I would have done anything to be “cured” (though it was not clear back then what I would have been cured of). Now, at 51 years old, I have no desire to be cured of anything. My neurodiversity has contributed to the person I have become. I am happy with that person.

IMO, if research into the human genome ever results in anything like a “cure,” it will be important to empower each person on the spectrum, as much as possible, to make their own decisions.
