In my case, I am tenured. I have been in academia since 1980 and in my present position since 1993.

We are both full professors.

His email comment about “typical” autistic behavior related to one of the people who attended the college’s autism conference. (The conference, which was was initiated by me, had several hundred participants.) His second comment that “normal” people listen to what the other person is saying was directed at me.
